Decode: Rosmini's Computer Programming and Game Development and 3D Modeling club has just started to offer NCEA Level 1 and 2 credits as part of it's extra-curricular program. Students with an interest in coding from year 10 and above can now take part in the computer programming standards worth 6 credits. Mr Rodkiss runs the club that meets every Wednesday after school in B3 and runs until 4.30pm. Students interested in taking the NCEA credits are encouraged to attend fairly regularly, however, the class will be run with an e-learning flavor, allowing students flexibility to do coursework online in their own time. The first activity was wrapping bins, rugby balls cute toys and etc by Furoshiki (???) which is a type of traditional Japanese wrapping cloth.  Students enjoyed and were amazed by this way of wrapping.

Ten Rosmini students went to France for 2 weeks over the term break. Among the many places that they visited were famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower the Louvre, Versailles and Notre-Dame. Their experiences of the Home stays and French culture were fully enjoyed by the boys who loved every minute of it. They boys were amazing representatives for Rosmini and New Zealand. This very successful trip concluded at Disneyland Paris; a great experience that will remain with the boys for the rest of their lives.

The Year 13 Biology Trip to Tiritiri Matangi was held on Friday, 1st May. Twenty Year 13 students and one Year 10 student, along with Biology teacher, Mr Vince Pygott, and Headmaster, Mr Nixon Cooper, left at 8:30am and returned at 5:30pm.

Years 7-10:  ALL Years 7-10 students are welcomed to participate in the Japanese trivia competition which will be held on TUE 18 MAY at 12.05pm (Years 7 & 8) and 12.50pm (Years 9 & 10) in Auditorium.  

NO JAPANESE LANGUAGE is required.  1st and 2nd winning teams will receive prizes.
