Congratulations to the boys who participated in the Waka Ama Auckland Champs on Saturday. Our J16a team won the 500m and 250m Plate final while the J19 team made it to the Plate final to came 5th overall. We would like to thank all the parents for their on going support in taking the boys to the early morning training as well as their amazing support on the day.

Waka Ama will start back up at the end of Term 3.

Congratulations to our two under 16 Waka Ama teams Who placed 1st and 3rd in the 8km Takapuna Beach cup race on Saturday.

The Maori department have started a new sport called Waka Ama. Training sessions are at  6:15 am on Wednesdays and 4 pm on Friday's. It has bee a great sport for developing communication skills and teamwork. Rosmini's first junior regatta is at Orakei basin on the 7th November were they will race against 30 other schools.

The Rosmini College Maori Department have started a new sport called Waka ama. Rosmini’s Head of Maori, Mr Heke Ngapua Rankin says, “It has been a great sport for developing communication skills and teamwork.”The junior Waka ama students took part in their first regatta at Orakei basin on Saturday, 7th November.

The Rosmini College School Concert was held in the Tindall Auditorium on Thursday, 13th August. The Year 10 and 11 Food Technology students prepared free finger food for the audience, which was served at the Intermission. The money raised from this concert will be used to help pay off the cost of the school’s three new Timpani drums. The concert featured performances from the Year 12 Barbershop Singers, the Year 10 Drumline Percussion Ensemble, the Junior Jazz Band, the Brass Ensemble, the Rosmini Big Band, the Rosmini Choir, the Junior Rock Band, the Saxophone Ensemble and the Rosmini Concert Band.
