Dear Rosmini Parents
Every year our two school vans clock up thousands of kilometres taking boys to sports events, cultural events, off-site academic groups and charitable collections. Then there are the hundreds of kilometres we parents also clock up ferrying our boys to and from school events.
This year the PTFA has been asked to raise funds to purchase a new 12 seater school van. The value of this van is $50,000.
As you can imagine, the van will be a much utilised resource for the ever increasing number of events we attend plus it will hopefully reduce the need for parent help with transport to these events.
To raise the $50,000 we will be holding two major fundraising events. The first event is our annual Quiz and Auction night held on Friday 17 June in the Auditorium at Rosmini and the second event is our annual Golf Day Tournament being held on Thursday 24 November at Waitemata Golf Club in Devonport.
Quiz and Auction Night Fundraiser – how you can help
Not only would we love to see you at this fundraising event but we are looking for products and services that can be donated to the auction. Please can you consider what you could donate or a possible contact to donate a product or service. It could include donating a professional service, leisure or sporting activity, sporting product, art, household wares or accommodation.
Our fundraising team are happy to follow up on suggested contacts.
Golf Day Tournament – how you can help
Not only do we like to see lots of golf played at this tournament, we require prizes for the tournament. Again, please think about any prizes you could donate or whether you know of someone who could donate a prize.
We also offer the chance to sponsor a golf tee on the day, enabling either your company’s brand or family name to be well promoted throughout the school community during the lead up to the tournament and on the day.
Let us know if you would like to enter or can help with either of these two events by clicking here.
Also remember to pencil into your diaries Friday 17th June and Thursday 24th November so you don’t miss these two popular events.
Your contribution, be it purchasing a ticket to the event through to providing a donation, is so important to the present and future pupils of Rosmini College. Please support our fundraising efforts for a new school van. Every bit helps to grow the great spirit within our College.
