On Friday, 12th August Rosmini College’s Junior Premiers Basketball Team won the U17 L1 Championship against traditional rivals, Westlake Boys High School. The final score was 52-40. The Rosmini team consisted of Terence Abdon, Cian Emery, Thomas Morgan, Sean Murphy, Marvin Williams-Dunn, Tyler Martin, Brandon Robb, Reimar Cruz, Taine Murray, Jayden Boucher, Reihana Maxwell-Topia, Ted Lee, Josh Miller and Josef Schnuriger.
Rosmini College’s Cross Country Team took part in the North Harbour Intermediate Cross Country Zone Day at Paremoremo’s Sanders Reserve on Tuesday, 9th August. Rosmini College’s Sports’ Coordinator, Mr Darren Sexton says, “Congratulations and good luck to Luke Farrand, Kane Murphy, Liam Playfair, Curtis Hughes, Jordan Seel and Matt Drury who have qualified for the Auckland Cross Country Champs on Thursday, 15th September, with a special mention to Luke Farrand who dominated the Year 7 field: A real talent!”

Rosmini College Year 9 student Connor Ashdown (14) of Albany, after winning golds for both the Individual Intermediate Kata and the Individual Premier Kumite at the New Zealand Open Championships in Christchurch, has been selected to represent New Zealand at the 17th Oceania Karate Championships in New Caledonia.
Congratulations to Michael Slessor-White and James Catlin who have both been named in the U16 New Zealand team to play Australia.
