Rosmini 60th Jubilee showcases a school of many talents
Rosmini's 60th Jubilee celebrations began with a karakia and mass, before the school opened its doors and displayed various talents and passions.
Current students proudly showed Old Boys and families around the school with personal tours; there was live music throughout the afternoon in the courtyard, as well as Old Boys versus current student sports matches.
The free coffee courtesy of Old Boy Paul Foster, and delicious food and sweet treats from food trucks, were a hit with all the visitors!
The science department let off rockets, and the Food Technology department hosted a MasterChef competition as well as sharing their barista skills in the school café.
Headmaster Nixon Cooper says, “The weekend was a huge success. It was wonderful to welcome back so many Old Boys to the school, and share the new buildings and resources we have at the College. Current students proudly showed their families around the school in a relaxed and fun environment, and I was very proud to see the showcase of talent on display across the school community. It was a great way to reflect on 60 years of Rosmini College and look ahead to the school’s future.”
