First XI recognised for season success
Congratulations to the Rosmini 1st XI football team, who were presented with their medals and trophy at assembly for winning the A1 league and gaining promotion to the Premier League - the first time playing in the top division since 1980.
2022 season statistics:
- Played 14 games: won 12, drawn 2, lost 0
- Scored 72 goals, the highest scoring team across all 5 premier divisions
- Top goal scorer was Brendan Acfield with 28 league goals
- Rosmini have achieved back-to-back promotions winning both A2 & A1 titles
- This is the first time since the '80s that Rosmini will be in the 'Top Flight' of Auckland secondary school football.
