De Paul House Fundraiser a success
For the first time in three years De Paul House was able to proceed with its annual breakfast fundraiser.
The packed room at the Spencer on Byron was addressed by noted NZ author Alan Duff, who told stories about his life and reflected upon the good things happening in NZ at the moment.
As has become tradition, Rosmini's Young Vinnies leaders, Matthew Lay, Benedict Chan, Nicholas Wilson and Aaron Fiahlo, helped out, along with Young Vinnies from Carmel College, serving tables and selling raffle tickets.
Feedback from the organisers said "they are great ambassadors for Rosmini College".
In conjunction with this event, Rosmini's Commerce Department made a generous donation of $275 from the proceeds of their Market Day held recently.
This is another great example of how all of the school works hard to ensure that "Charity fulfills the Law".
