Christmas Coup for Rosmini Water Polo
The end of year prizegiving for the Intermediate and Junior Water Polo league saw many Rosmini teams and boys celebrated.
Well done to the following teams and boys:
Intermediate Blue - 2nd place overall
Most improved player - Migues Castro
Most Valuable Player - Oscar Reade
Tournament team players Y 7 - Kenrich Shek and Miguel Castro
Tournament team players Y 8 - Kayden Godbold and Oscar Reade
Junior A team - 2nd place overall
Junior B - 2nd place in B Grade
Junior C - 3rd place in C Grade
Our Rosmini Recruits (Y6 players from St. Mary's and St. Joseph's) also won the Glenfield B grade, playing against Year 7 teams.
It was great to see many of our older players recognised at the NH club night prizegiving, with a special mention to Matt Mihaljevich who won Up and Coming Coach of the Year.
Finally, five of our Premier Team players have just been announced in the NZ U18 men's squad (born 2006). Well done to the following:

Our Premier Squad also played in the Christmas Cup tournament from 12th - 15th December winning all their games and making it to the Final against Tauranga Boys College who had recently won the Trans Tasman Cup in Australia the week before. We lost the final 6-10 but it was a great tournament to end the year.
