Quiz with Class a success for Rosmini Water Polo

An enjoyable evening was had by all who attended the Water polo Quiz with Class at our sponsor, Markovina Estate, on 11 August.

Quiz master Geoff was on form with an interactive quiz, along with our Premier team selling raffles, answers, collating results, and manning the “Bottle Board”. MC, Ethan McKolskey (Y12) started the evening with a warm welcome and short speech talking about what being in a Rosmini water polo team environment has meant to him, right from Year 7. George Lendich (Y11) followed up with a Karakia before we had a lovely buffet-style meal served.

Approximately $11,000 was raised to help support our future water polo teams, coaches and water polo programme. It was great to see so many of our Intermediate, Junior and Senior water polo families come together, get to know each other and have a fun night.

Thanks to our water polo fundraising committee members (Camille, Gina, Marie, Rachel, Liz and Mark) for all their hard work in the background obtaining silent and live auction items as well as setting up for the evening and all the other administrative tasks. Without everyone’s support we would not have been able to pull off such a successful event.
