Rosmini Premier & Senior Touch term 1
Over the past five weeks, Rosmini once again had their top Premier Touch side competing on Monday afternoons across the bridge at Cox’s Bay, against the best Touch teams in Auckland.
With a relatively young side this year, the team is going through a re-building phase. It was tough competition, coming up against the likes of King’s College and Auckland Grammar, from which they gained lots of experience and learnings during the season. Rosmini will reap the rewards over the next couple of years as these young men gain more and more top level experience, including the end of year NZ Secondary School Touch Championships, to be held 6-8 December 2024 in Rotorua.

Rosmini also entered a Senior Touch side in the local North Harbour schools competition on Tuesdays. This team was made up of a number of our top Year 10 and Year 9 players, to gain valuable playing time and experience, before their own Junior competition in Term 4.
The boys – coached by Kenneth Tohovaka – played against predominantly senior students, and really did the school proud with what they achieved over such a small time frame, winning some matches and going oh so close on the others.
We look forward to seeing these boys back in action in October, along with their Junior sides.
