Physics students visit Rainbows End

Year 13 students had a practical and engaging experience at Rainbows End amusement park, where they were able to calculate and feel the G forces in real-life scenarios through adrenaline-pumping rides like the Stratosfear, Corkscrew Rollercoaster, and Fearfall, which emphasised the effects of high drops, rapid speeds, and sharp spins.

More leisurely activities such as the karts and bumper boats offered a lighter side to their fun-filled day, ensuring a well-rounded exploration of physics concepts in action.
