Rosmini recognises Social Justice Week
This year, Social Justice Week centred around the theme of 'Forgiveness.' Through daily prayer, we explored this theme in depth, learning how it connects with the six maxims of Antonio Rosmini.
Several of our Year 10 students took the initiative to lead Social Justice activities for the Year 7s. During form time, students learned more about the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy through engaging small-group activities. They ranked the works based on ease or difficulty and performed skits to bring the concepts to life. They also shared what forgiveness means to them
It was inspiring to see these students grow in both confidence and leadership as the week went on. Having them lead the sessions created a peer-to-peer learning experience that enhanced the overall impact.
