Rosmini Music Awards 2024
On Thursday 17 October Rosmini College celebrated the talented students who have been involved in music groups at the school in 2024.
The evening was a fantastic opportunity to recognise the musical talent at the school, and thank the students and teachers for the many hours and effort they put into the various music groups at Rosmini, including Rosmini Chamber Choir, Rosmini Orchestra, Carmini Choir, Junior Jazz Band, Junior Ensemble and more. Students were awarded certificates for the number of years service to music, from one to seven years.
A special mention must go to our senior students who have given many years of service to music at Rosmini, and our departing Year 13s who were presented with a pair of music-themed socks to remember their time as part of the Rosmini Music family!
During the evening guests enjoyed drinks and nibbles, and were treated to performances by leading music groups, including rock band F5, a piano piece composed and performed by Chao Zhang, chamber group, and new rock band The Defenders. Rosmini Arts Prefect Radeesha De Silva also spoke about his time in the music department at Rosmini College, where he gained skills and friendships to last a lifetime.
