Rosmini Golf Day a great success

Rosmini Golf Day a great success

The annual Rosmini College Golf Tournament took place on Thursday 27 November 2024 at the Waitemata Golf Club in Devonport and was a great success with over $51,000 raised – a new record!

We were blessed with a lovely sunny day and ideal conditions for golfers and had a full field of 34 teams – many of the teams with connections to the College. Thanks to all the Rosmini Community and the Old Boys who supported the event by either entering a team, sponsoring a tee, donating a prize for the auction / raffle or purchasing raffle tickets.

Special thanks to auctioneer Paul Glover whose skills as an auctioneer raised over $21,000 running the auction on Thursday night. Thanks to the members of the PTFA who helped on the day along with teacher Tony Hill and the senior boys from the College, including Daniel Cullum, Oscar Smith, Jeremiah Afu and Old Boy Giles La Ville, who used their excellent golfing skills to hit balls and raise a lot of money on the day.

The tournament was won by The Partakers team, which included Rosmini College Old Boys: Peter Snedden, Luke Snedden, Brendan McLean and Simon Lytollis. Second place was last year’s winning team, Team Liam Lyons, which included Liam Lyons, Mike Newdick, Glen McLeod and Darren Bird, and in third place was The Milford Masters team – Dan Ryder, Chris Anderson, Quintin Douglas and Phil Rayment.
