Rosmini Badminton Competition showcases talent

The 2024 Rosmini Badminton Competition was an exciting event that showcased the talent and camaraderie of both students and staff. 

With two engaging divisions—Social and Competitive—the tournament was played in pairs, offering a platform for players of all skill levels to enjoy the sport and challenge themselves.

Social Division

Running over five weeks, the Social Division brought together a mix of students and teachers who were eager to have fun and sharpen their skills. The competition was fierce, but the atmosphere remained friendly and encouraging. The final results were as follows:

1st Place: Reece Augustine & Jonah Mathew
2nd Place: Cameron Luo & Alex Chen
3rd Place: Sebastian Wood & Kang Choi

Competitive Division

The Competitive Division, spanning four weeks, saw some of the school’s most skilled players battle it on the court. These matches were intense, with incredible rallies and displays of strategy and teamwork. The winners were:

1st Place: Max William & Stanford Vincely
2nd Place: Senith Pulukkutti Arachchige Don & Nemo Hernandez
3rd Place: James Orjalo & Marcus Yap

The tournament culminated with semifinals and finals on the last day of each division, ensuring a thrilling finish to an already memorable event. To celebrate their achievements, bronze, silver, and gold medals were awarded to the teams.

A special thank you goes to Mr Pham and Mr Malaitai, who took the initiative to organise and oversee this incredible event. Their dedication and hard work ensured the tournament was a resounding success, fostering school spirit and a love for badminton among participants.
