Visit from Irish Rosminian Father Joe O'Reilly
Rosmini College was honored to welcome Father Joe O'Reilly, Administer General of the Rosminian Order, to our school on Friday.
Father Joe was a special guest at assembly in the morning where he spoke to the boys about his life working in a school for the blind, and working with young people in trouble with the law. He reiterated the message that as Rosminians we should strive to contribute to society, and be charitable to those in need.
Our Catholic Character leaders gave Father Joe a tour of the school, before sharing the work the school does in the area of service, as well as unique aspects of our school.
Father Joe was particularly interested in the Maori culture at Rosmini and in NZ, and was surprised by a haka to conclude his visit.
Thank you for your time Father Joe.
