Rosmini Prems claim volleyball gold
During Summer Tournament Week our Premier Volleyball team competed at the North Island Secondary School Satellite Volleyball Tournament, a competition for young developing teams, running over three days at the local Northcote netball courts.
There were 48 teams from around the North Island competing, and Rosmini had an incredible run, beating Te Puke High School, Bay of Islands College, Glenfield College, Glendowie College and Otahuhu College. They met Selwyn College in the final, which went to three sets, ultimately claiming victory 18-25, 25-17 and 15-10. Congratulations!
Lincoln Cooksey-Otutaha had a superb first two days, playing aggressive, consistent volleyball. Unfortunately he was injured on the last point of our semi final win and missed the final.
Thank you to the parents, coaches and staff who supported the boys. We look forward to watching this young team continue to develop, enjoy the game and achieve success.
